Do trans fats show up for ANYTHING in the database?

I noticed that my food log shows NO trans fats. This made me curious, so I looked up McDonald's french fries, KFC chicken, and margarine, and none of them list trans fats on myfitnesspal.

Is this just happening for me? Is it a glitch?

Thanks for any help :)

A lot of the stuff is user added and some users don't care about anything but calories.

One of my friends had this chicken thing the other night that had no PROTEIN listed.

If you see the mistake, you can go in and fix it.
Just make sure it's right vs. the label/website

Mcdonalds french fries (and possibly the other items you listed) have no trans fats

Grassfed beef often does. It contains a trans fat that's actually pretty healthy for you.

Look up wendys chili cheese fries in the database, it shows trans fats. At least the first one for the US does. The first 2 I saw in the list were for Canada & Japan, though, so I didn't look at those. And the person who mentioned user-added info, that is definitely correct. Irritates me when the data comes up wrong when I scan a bar code. I find myself fixing them more often than not.

If a food contains trans fat, it's usually in such a small amount that it doesn't have to be included on the label.

Is it better for me to just do some research on the worst trans fat offender foods, and avoid those?
