Missed a day....

So I missed my work out today, and most likely wont be able to squeeze it in. I usually will kill my self the next day when this happens with 2X the Cardio... MFP friends, whats your take on situations like this? Extra Work to make up for the lost work out? Or dont risk excess/over work and pick up where you left off the next day?

    It happens. Move on. I have the flu so I haven't be to the gym in a week. I'm just going to pick up where I left off when I feel better.

    not every day can go as planned. i would just forget about it - count it as a day of rest and move on. now if it was a friday workout that i missed i probably would go for an extra long run on saturday but that's because i have more free time on saturdays than during the week.
