Stretchmarks

I'm doing pretty good at counting calories and such so far and I definitely didn't splurge this weekend (personal milestone!!) but my concern is stretchmarks...
I have some very new stretchmarks (last couple months) and I'm just concerned about how they're going to look WHEN I lose all of this weight. I know they're not going to go completely away, but would any of you mind sharing your experiences and possibly pictures?

in my experience they just kinda fade back into my skin but they necessarily don't go away less noticeable for sure though. i try to just keep moisturized. they should look better in the summer when most get a better tan!0

Thanks! I'm definitely not crazy over weight with stretchmarks all over (not putting offense, just making a statement ), but they're definitely there and very red. I'm just so afraid they'll stay and I still won't want to wear a bathing suit xD0

Strech marks that are red will go away with weight loss as your skin shrinks back to a normal size BUT if they have a white color to them they will never go away at that point they have turned to cartilige but if their still red you can use coco butter or coconut butter to make your skin more elastic and prevent them from getting worse and heal when you continue to lose weight *Im going to school for dermatology0

They fade to being a silver colour0

They will fade to a shimmery colour, but I use Bio Oil on them two or three times a week in the summer season when I have to show skin and it's fantastic for disguising them! It's also great for moisturising, just pop a few drops into a bath or rub it into the stretched areas and they disappear quite quick. It's not permanent but it's a good quick fix x0

Buy a jar of organic coconut oil!! It works for any stretchmarks (new or old) Definitely minimizes the appearance and makes your skin so so smooth! It's really good for hair, cooking, and eating in a smoothie!:happy:0
