Strength

How many times per week do you all do strength / how many times per week should I be doing?

I have a strength workout for leaning out/toning up from a trainer that I got last year but I can't remember how often he recommended to do it. So, of course I turn to you all for some opinions.

    3 is good for a beginner. 4 is good beyond that.

    I'm doing strong lifts right now, which is a full body workout. I do it 3 times per week.
    I will eventually work up to a split routine and 4 days a week.
