TDEE ?

Ok. I've been doing this now since the beginning of November. MFP at one point had me on 1650 calories, which brought my weight loss to a screeching stop. So I redid my settings and now have 1800. I just figured my TDEE and it is 3049, and my 20% is 2439. I really don't feel comfortable, eating over 2000 calories, when I'm trying to lose weight. I was losing before on the 1800, should I just continue at the 1800, or go to the 2400? It just seems so counter intuitive.

See, i have about the same issue, i WA eating around 900 a day, no weight loss, then figured our my numbers, 2450 is my number them subtract 20 percent puts me around 1800, i can't eat that, it's horrible that i have to eat that much, so i usually take in 1400-1500 and i lose weight.0

I'm searching the forum for the same answers, MFP says I should be consuming 1200 cals, I tend to eat under 1200 but now looking at my TDEE (which it (1740) I should be eating around 1400... I'm confused?
I thought keeping UNDER my 1200 would mean I would lose more weight but now looking at other posts my body won't be getting enough nutrition so I won't lose weight. Help!0 -
I do not lose weight on a super low calorie diet. I am current on 2000 calories a day. (More if I work out a lot) But I burn anywhere from 2600-3600 on an average day and that is not in heavy workout season. I mostly do running when it gets to be higher. but your body needs fuel to function the reason we gained so much weight in the first place is we over fueled it we now need to learn the balance without hurting ourselves by under fueling it.0
