Lose weight without excercise

Is it true if I keep my calories under what MFP recommend without exercise I can lose 2 pounds a week? I want to trust it, but than again it seems to good to be true. LOL.. Should I trust MFP calculator? Thanks all!

If you're eating 1000 less calories than your body needs, then yes.
It's much easier to eat 1000 less calorie than your body needs if your body needs calories to exercise though0 -
Its doable just exercise makes it much easier. Its all about how much you input compared to what your body needs to hold onto fat/muscle. Now exercising will keep more muscle down the road when you lost weight.0

I've tried for ages to lose weight without exercise. For me it just doesn't work.
My thing this year is to workout *every* day. So far I've done two weeks of the P90X workout program.
I suck at it, but IT'S WONDERFUL! I would like you encourage you to think of your journey as a road towards fitness instead of weight loss.0
