What do you do about people on your friends list that are exhibiting ED or potential ED behavior? Do you confront them, if so, how? Or do you just delete them?

I just delete them. I don't want to give them attention or promote their behaviour in any way. Note: I am only referring to those who are NOT TRYING to get over their disorder. I have a few friends who have EDs and are on here to try and recover, which I respect. But those who overtly display their goal weight of 85lbs and go on the skinny girl diet and talk about how 'fat' they are because they just ate a biscuit, I don't put up with.0

delete them, unless I get the impression that they're trying to recover0

I delete them. I struggle still with negative attitudes towards food and don't need a reminder of my experience with ED.0

Depends.
If they just get on with things, I may comment or ask why they're eating so little. For curiosities sake. But if they constantly spam my wall wth ED related crap... yeah. Get off my list.0 -
I try to support people with ED the best I can like all my friends. Everyone starts somewhere and is deserving of our support.
Do you delete people who try all kinds of different fad diets you don't approve of (diet pills, no carbs, etc.)? What about people who never lift weights and do excessive levels cardiovascular exercise? Or people that never work out at all? I don't delete them either but clearly these habits are unhealthy as well.
Unless your friends are going to trigger you into practicing unhealthy habits yourself, I say keep them all and support them the best you can.0 -

Not all of them are unhealthy. Some are questionable, certainly.
I open those who are here for support in their ED recovery with open arms. I'm just not sure how to handle those who are purposefully doing it to themselves and are well aware of it, if not extremely public about it. I would assume that people with a true eating disorder would try to mask it as much as possible (But, I am no expert with ED)
Someone on my friends list is doing the "ABC diet". I looked it up. No bueno.0
