anyone try this, i just came across it at costco today and it was about 65 bucks i think. I was doing slim in 6 and i am losing interest. Not seeing results and not finding it challenging enough i guess. I don't want anything like TF p90x,,etc but need something different then Jm 30ds and rin30... I am near my goal weight, so that is not something that i need to do, lose weight.. i just want to get a bit tighter and lose the last few inches off my lower belly. what are your thoughts and suggestions..... oh and i know i will get many replies about " do strength training" but i have to work out t home and only have up to 10lb weights right now...

Get more bang for your buck & search Amazon. I workout at home in the AM & weekends when I can't get to the gym, I have several FIRM workouts that I've got from Amazon for $5 - $10 each (dated from 2009 to 2012): Also check out Amy Bento & Cathe Friedrich for strength training with minimal weights for excellent home workouts

thx. I had never heard of these programs at all until today. the rave all seems to be Jm and beachbody stuff... so i had to know more about this stuff. What do you think is the difference with their other dvd's vs the express ones?

The Firm is FUN!! I have done quite a few of them, but I can tell you this: Susan was on the VERY FIRST one. She was my FAV!! I "hated" her thru the entire workout, but I was SOOOOO excited about her and couldn't wait for the next workout. Even my sisters (who do NO exercise--except the remote) would all come over once in a while (I had six sisters) and say: Say, who don't you get Ol' Susan out and let's see what we can do.

She was GREAT!! Easy to follow.

"Get Chisel'd" is my personal fav. Others that are great are "Tight Buns, Killer Thighs", "Total Body Time Crunch", "Cardio Core Fusion" and "Ignite Calorie Burn". If you want a quick hitter that has plyo & is more cardio based, look at "Cardio Explosion", it's 4 12-min drills that my HRM clocked at over 700 calories for all 4!!
Their Pilates one isn't too bad, either (although I like GAIAM's Anna Caban's Pilates a lot more). Read the reviews on Amazon to decide which are more suited to you.

If you're looking for some other types of workouts, see if you can get GAIAM 5 Day Fit Trouble Zone Solutions and also Scott Cole who is my fav Tai Chi instructor. Adds a well-rounded mix into your daily routines.

I personally do not like JM, she is very effective but I just can't put up with her for more than a couple days (although her Trouble Zones & Ripped in 30 are pretty decent).

thx. I liked Jm, b/c they were effective. Slim in 6 just wasn't getting me the same results... I don't want anything intense like TF or p90x, etc but something more then slim in 6, kinda what i get with jm. I am near my goal weight, so i am not looking to shed lots of lbs, i just need to tighten up a bit more but loosing a few more inches off areas. especially my lower belly..... so i need something that will target that area :)
