Greetings!
This post will be about my personal journey and how I've decided to achieve my goal. I called it "Stages". I did this simply because I'm the type of person who can be a little bit impatient when it comes to weight loss and I didn't want this to be a race that I couldn't keep up with. I promised myself to take it one step at a time, so here's how I plan on doing it:
STAGE 1: Preparation
Goal: -20 lbs (From 200 lbs to 180 lbs)
-Detox period (tea, green vegetables)
-Find organic foods and snacks
-Lower intake of processed foods and find substitutes
-Exercise Cardio 5x a week for 30 mins.
-Drink plenty of water.
STAGE 2: Healthy Intake
Goal: -20 lbs (From 180 lbs to 160 lbs)
-Keep a healthy, organic, low carb, low sugar, low sodium nutrition.
-Drink plenty of water.
-Exercise Cardio 5x a week for 30 mins.
STAGE 3: Keep it Steady
Goal: -20 lbs (From 160 lbs to 140 lbs)
-Keep as stage 2 in nutrition.
-Exercise Cardio 5x a week 45 mins.
-Exercise Strength 2x a week 15 mins.
FINAL STAGE: Almost There
Goal: -20 lbs (From 140 lbs to 120 lbs)
-Keep as stage 2 nutrition.
-Exercise Cardio 5x a week for 45 mins.
-Exercise Strength 3x a week for 20 mins.
Done! After the final stage, I'll just keep everything in moderation and I'll go from there. I'll exercise regularly and try to keep eating healthier, indulging every once in a while but not too much!
I can't say I'll follow this to perfection but I strive to. After all, I'm only human! Aren't we all? I know I might make mistakes along the way but I won't beat myself over them, I'll learn and adjust.
I hope this motivates some people if they need some type of guideline. I'm by no means an expert but this is what I think will work for me, only time will tell! Thanx for reading and leave me any comments about what your goal is and how you plan to achieve it!
