My husband and I are considering getting a fitbit. One question I have is does it have a HRM on it. Sorry if that's stupid, but ppl have said that it underestimates insanity workouts. So, could he make it be a HRM for the hour he works out with insanity?? Also, so you like your fitbit? Anything you want to add is helpful!!

Just got Fitbit One last weekend. No HRM. It does have an altimeter so it can tell how many flights of stairs you've gone up in a day, very cool if you have stairs in your home or office. It tracks sleep info with a stopwatch function which is neat because now I know I'm getting only 6 hours of sleep (not good!). Haven't done an intense workout with it yet, but it has credited me back about 100 calories to my daily value through my routine day and taking the stairs at work (4th floor office) and parking farther away. I'm working full time and taking classes in the evening so I'm pretty much in front of a computer or at a desk all day so it's helping me make sure I get in a little bit of extra exercise even though my log is set to sedentary right now until my schedule frees up more for exercising.0

They both have different purposes the fitbit track steps, stairs, calorie burn and sleep activity! It also gives detail information about your food intake! The down fall it doesn't give you your haert rate with workouts! A lot of people wae thire fitbit all day because of the calorie burn and just use HRM during workouts!0
