Help Me!

So I recently started back exercising and it is taking me forever to recover from a workout! I usually incorporate jogging/running into my regimen as often as I can, and since I am pressed for time now...I have decided to do the insanity workout as well. I understand you will be sore in the beginning....I am use to that, but I think since I now have a job that is physically demanding, my body isn't getting the proper rest it needs. I literally workout...then go to my physically demanding job...go home to sleep and do it all over again. What can I do to help my body recover without compromising the intensity of my workouts?

I'm no expert, but if you just started a new job that is physically demanding, you may need to cut back on your workouts a little until you get used to the extra exertion. You can also make sure that your workouts use different muscles than you have to use at work. Make sure you do get enough rest and nutrition. Don't know if that helped or not, but that's what I would suggest. If you overdo, you're just going to hurt yourself and not be able to do anything.0

Keep at it and eat and sleep.0

Give yourself a day off sometimes and eat some protein within 15-30 minutes after your workout. And have a glass of chocolate milk just before bed (seriously).0
