i usually use gnc's optimum nutrition protien...but i have been buying body fortress protein powder from walmart. it's a lil cheaper in comparison to same amount but it only comes in a smaller container. most of your protein powders are going to be about the same. you might look into a weight gainer/protein powder...and just not take the full amount. it'll give you some added nutrients to help your muscles and also give you the protein you want. just look around..and compare. it's what you like that counts. try to get as much protein as you can from lean protein foods. something you might want to look into is casein protein powder. it's a slow digesting protein...take it before bed. it'll digest all night so your body doesn't break down muscle to fuel the body. it's a thick, very filling shake when you make it and drink. hope some of this helps. have any questions...just ask.0

Also if you shop at Vitamin Shoppee instead of Gnc its alot cheaper protein and they have a free rewards program which at the end of the year they give you money back for every dollar you spend in the store they also always send you coupons through email for discounts on your purchases0

well, if you're not lifting...i'd stick to the whey protein. you can add casein also. it's calories when you just can't eat anymore food. we used to have a vitamin shope here but they closed. no big deal. the mass powder will help...but it is a lot of calories. good calories...but mainly for muscle repair and hard gainers when your lifting weights. i'd say if you're trying for the ripped abs look, stay away from the mass gainer protein. how is that insanity workout? i hear it's a killer. i was thinking of starting something. power 90, p90x or something. i can lift...but my cardio is in the crapper. lol0
