New to forum, been using MFP for a few weeks....

and it's been successful! I started in mid-December at 152 lbs. I reached my goal of 145 a few days ago- yeah! Now I've reset my goal for 140 and that may be the final one, we'll see how I feel when I get there.

I was up to 167 a couple of years ago and lost 22lbs with Weight Watchers. It was awesome but my problem has never been losing weight, it's been maintaining it. I've heard it only takes 200 excess calories per day to cause you to gain 10lbs in a year. As we all know, that's not very many calories!

I started using MFP because it's free and so I can hopefully use it long term to keep the weight off. I get tired of logging my food all the time and can not tolerate the thought of doing it indefinitely so I think as long as I can weigh myself every week I can start using the app again if I get off track.

So that's the grand plan. :flowerforyou:
