    I haven't read any of the other posts in this thread but for me 1200 calories is a totally reasonable goal and actually I even have trouble HITTING 1200 anymore. I'm small for a guy though, I'm just 5'10 and 170lbs, so I don't need as much as "powerlifters" or whatever.
