Here's our new chart. We did better this week! I am currently waiting--impatiently to get keys. The loan was to fund today. I will be so glad when I am done with all of this!
The question of the week. If you were an animal what animal would you be?? You are a....
I am a panther. Sleek, sexy, strong, graceful, fast. At least that is what I would like to be. How about you?

Apparently, I am a Bear who's been hibernating for 2 weeks.
The weather has been really nice here, in the 50's for 2 days now. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to enjoy it. I pulled
a muscle or something in my right leg. It feels better today then yesterday. But it still hurts to walk on it.
I love Spring because it gets me motivated. I've been so slacking this winter. I just can't seem to get going.
I'll be glad when my leg gets better so I can start walking outside and enjoy the sun again.0 -

If I were an animal I'd be......
A Bulldog like my LuLu....strong, sweet and loyal, energetic, loves to get out and go - just don't cross me or my family I have a vicious bark and bite!0 -
I would be a bird....so I can fly all over and visit different countries!

Just finished core synergistics was suppose to do it yesterday but no time. I am hoping to get better at doing them daily, I need more motivation to get going in the morning I just have no get up and go rught now all I want to do is sleep.
If I were an aninal I would be a dog probably a greyhound( my parents adopted 2 a couple years ago) strong fast and loyal. Plus they are already skinny :laugh:0 -
Well it is official!! We got the keys last night. :drinker: Now for all the fun of moving...:indifferent: It is going to be great! We currently live on a busy road, and will be moving to a quiet culdesac. One of the neighbors has already introduced themselves. It's going to be good to move. Yet a little sad too. It's the first time since we got married.
It's fun to see what animals you are. I got that from the inside out weight loss podcast I am listening to. I found a picture of a panther that seems to embody the image I have---It is now the background on my computer.
Now to eat better--I have been grazing lately and not on good things. Time to take charge again!0 -
Debnu1 - Just a little bit longer and it'll all be done. Moving can be fun, I know not if your the homeowner per say. I used to work as a mover for many years from 15-23. Let me know if you have any questions, as stupid as they might be. In the last xx years I've moved twice and helped many friends/family move. (I'm usually the one that packs the truck to make sure it all fits on one load)
I view it like this sometimes. Like other things in life, your closing one chapter of your life, and starting a new chapter. You'll have good memories.
You can do it.
Smadag - Keep it up - Once you start on a pattern, your body wants to keep it going and you'll look forward to working out.
Have a great hump day everyone - Off to do shoulders and arms today.0 -
HI Blues,
Debnu- Wish you the best in your move and may it be as stress free as possible and that you can accomplish all that you want to.
Today I did errands with hubby- he took the day off. We finished the night with a movie at home and I just completed my workout for the day: Insanity Core Cardio & Balance & Insane Abs for like almost 70 minutes. I'm feeling pretty good and am going to watch some tv
Have a good night all!0 -
Seems like I can't get my schedule together this week- taking Mom to doc today, finally finished a huge project yesterday for work, baseball games, ortho appt, ....done fine with calories but freaking out a little that I haven't run yet this week. Weather not looking great for the weekend. I'll do strength tonight and run 5-7 tomorrow....5 if I will run 12.75 Sat or 7 if I won't run til Sunday
Life has definitely beat me the past couple days but NOT today!!!!!0 -
Hi all,
My plan for today is to do Insanity Core Cardio & balance and Insane Abs while my baby naps. Then I'm off to watching a movie and having dinner. I'm so excited that the weather is getting warmer and looking forward to running outside very soon.
Take care blues!0 -
Hey Blues.
Well it's beautiful in toronto again today. Supposed to do Yoga X 1.5 hours, but since it's so nice out and I have to work afternoon shift, I'm skipping yoga X and just came back from some wogging and I did 2 laps 54 mins and did 4 miles.
Last year when I ran this lap around the block, there was always that certain point where I would strive to get to, and then say good job( barely got to 3 min jog) and start walking. Today on both laps I hit that spot, and knew I had a lot more in the tank, so I just kept pushing it. I was jogging for 5-6 mins straight both laps.
Have a great day everyone,0 -
Aren't we a quiet bunch this week!
So still no exercise since Monday - HMMMFF! not too happy about it - going to run tonight if it kills me!!!!!!!! It's ME time for a change this week!0 -
Hi Blues,
Yeah, it's been pretty quiet here. Hope everyone is just busy working out.....:)
chrissy- Sounds like a good plan, and I'm sure you'll fit in exercise in.
It's pouring here in NYC, and I'm getting ready to do Insanity Max Interval Sports Training and CArdio Abs for like 70 minutes. This is my week of from school so I'm just relaxing at home and watching tons of movies I haven't had a chance to watch.
Enjoy the rest of your friday!0 -
It has been a weird week here. I have not had a chance to do anything this week no motivation. I will try to get back at it tomorrow. Been trying to watch what I eat since I have not been working out0
-
Yes, I was going to say the exact same thing.. Finished legs and back today. Going to enjoy the weekend as I get in Kenpo X and stretch X.
Hoping this week by increasing my calories (actually making sure I eat all my exercise calories) that I'll go down this week.
Last 2-3 weeks that I didn't lose any weight, I was eating only some of my exercise calories on some days. ( I know, bad, but hey i was losing, so....)
Aiming for 2000 calories each day which includes my exercise calories.
Also making sure to increase my protein, as I left calories on the table last few weeks I know I left protein out.
I'm amazed when I pack my food for work (approx 1500-1600 cal). This week I basically took the same things every day.
An apple, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 15-25 almonds,
2 WW bread with 90gms of chicken
Cliff bar (which is 40-30-30 btw)
2-3 stalks of celery and 7-10 baby carrots, 3 tbs of hummus
A small dinner(chicken and veggies/rice) and protein powder
Feels like I'm eating so much, but I know 1600 calories can also mean a big mac combo
Hope everyone has a great Friday.0 -

Sorry I have not been checking in much this week. To be honest I feel as though I am barely keeping my head on straight. My husband has a booth at the spring home and garden show this weekend (he is a general contractor) So he hasn't been around much--and I have been helping him as much as possible, along with trying to pack and get things ready to move into a house. Crazy!! We will probably do the big move on Monday which means I will be without internet from Monday afternoon until Wednesday. I may go through withdrawls! In order to get the next board up I will need your weights first thing in the morning!
I am afraid mine won't be so good. I have been snacking on whats around and it hasn't been anything good!
It doesn't help that I am a huge stress eater. I also feel like a bottomless pit when I don't eat right. That might have something to do with it too.
Off to get kids in bed...:flowerforyou:0 -
debnu- Wishing you a great move and that you can accomplish everything you plan.
tthumper- It sounds like you have a plan for your meals and are going to do great. I had to increase my calories too when starting Insanity and I don't feel as hungry. You might know, but you'll probably gain 1-2 pounds in the beginning, but then you'll start losing. I'm already planning what exercise program to do after Insanity and I'm thinking of P90x maybe. I have Chalean also, but I think I'd like to do P90x first. I need to get more weights because I don't have enough and maybe a band or something to do pull-ups. Me- always thinking ahead!
Today was the end of recovery week for Insanity and I did Max Interval Sports Training and Cardio abs for 70 minutes. Monday I start month 2 of Insanity and everyone says it's brutal and that's when the weight starts coming off. Either way, I'm so excited and I'm so ready to Bring it. It's been freezing and pouring rain here in NYC so I've been very happy to exercise at home.
Wish you all a good night and a great Sunday!0 -
I'M BACK!! I have been MIA for a couple of weeks. I was playing in the pit orchestra for a college production of "Beauty and the Beast", and once we got into daily rehearsals, I seemed to lose the ability to budget my time to post in or even read posts in my groups. (I can't imagine why - I was leaving the house at 7:30am to go to work, getting home about 4:00, fixing dinner, trying to get things around for the next day, leaving by 6pm for rehearsal, and getting home about 11:30pm daily. Thank goodness I survived!) I did manage to consistently log my food every day, though, and actually lost a little over a pound. Anyway, did you miss me? I missed you!
The final performance was last Sunday, and I had a pretty busy week this week, so I'm just getting back in the swing of things today. I am thrilled to be back, and promise to try to pop in every day or two now. My weigh in is tomorrow morning, and after my loss last week, I really think that I might have lost again. It would be awesome to be able to say that I had broken the plateau that I have been on for 3 months! Oh, to see my ticker say 75 pounds lost would be a dream come true after such a long dry spell while I just keep plugging away. I tried to cross my fingers and toes, but decided it would be too uncomfortable to stay that way all night!
So anyway, good night to all and: Here's to smart choices!0 -
Look at my ticker, look at my ticker, look at my ticker!!! I finally made it past the 75 hump that I have been fighting since Thanksgiving!
And - I bet you never heard anyone be excited about this before - I AM OBESE! Yes, after a long time of being classified as "morbidly obese" - a phrase that I really hate - my loss has put me into the obese category! Woo hoo!
Here's hoping that this signifies the end of my three month plateau, because keeping a good attitude, continuing to log calories and work out, and not whine throughout this has taken everything that I have. Look out world, overweight here I come!!0 -
Mary, Congratulations!! I think this calls for a celebration!
We have put off our moving plans to Saturday, mostly because we don't get blinds until tomorrow. Somehow I don't want the neighbors to get to know us that well right off. :blushing:
I am making pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, boy do they smell good! Have a great day everyone!0 -
Just saw this link on another post. All I can say is Oh my goodness!

Hi everybody,
msh- I'm so happy to hear about your weight loss! congratulations! I guess the weight comes off when we're not really paying attention to the scale. Though you did say you were logging foods, so your hard work payed off. I missed you too!! You always bring such positive vibes and love hearing from you.
I had plans to exercise this morning but went to sleep late last night watching the movie "The Blind Side". Today I started Month 2 of Insanity and it was as brutal as everyone said it would be, and I loved it. I did Max Interval Circuit and P90x Ab ripper for a total of 75 minutes. I'm considering not weighing myself everyday until weigh in, because I'm on TOM and seeing my weight increase is just bothering me. I'm going to make dinner now, then dessert, then some tv.
Hope everyone has a great day!!0 -
Hugs-hope everyone is well-stay focused!0
