Strength training + Weightlifting

I plan on starting weightlifting today and i'm quite new to it. I've been eating clean for the most part but I wanted to know if it is okay to go over my carbs/sugar as long as it is not processed? My calorie goal is 1800 and it's so hard for me to eat that much within a day without going over the carbs & sugar. I'm also cutting down on cardio exercises, the only cardio I will be doing is (cardio sculpt which is it cardio + strength) once a week and 3 days of weightlifting.

I don't really want to bulk, I just to have a nice figure with no flabby skin. My goal is to lose weight and tighten up at the same time. I weigh 196 lbs and my goal weight is 145 lbs.

In other words, can I go way over my macros (by eating the right way, of course) and still reach my goal without sabotaging it?

As long as you meet your calorie goals, sure.

Make sure you eat 1 gram for every pound of lean body mass (or 100) of protein, and 1/3 gram of fat for every pound of total body weight.

^^^ ditto. As long as you stay within your calorie goals and meat your protein requirement. Aim for 1g per LBM you have. After that....let the rest fall where they may.
My sugars are always over. Always. I eat a lot of fruit. Plus....I like ice cream.....I'm not worried about it ;)
