Need to get fit again

I've just joined as I intend to get back the fitness I've lost in the last 3 years after 2 motorcycle crashes.

I had the first accident on a trackday in december 2009, I snapped my knee ligaments, broke some ribs & broke my collar bone. Had reconstructive knee surgery and spent 18 months in physio.

2nd accident was 18 months ago and I dislocated the same shoulder I'd broken the collar bone on 18 months previous.

All these injurys stopped me exercising, it was a struggle to do cardio and lifting weights was impossible.

I loved my food too much. Takeaways were just too easy and too tasty.

My motivation to sort this all out came over this last christmas, I hit my highest ever weight and saw some pictures of myself. I couldn't believe the belly I'd grown and how bad I looked.

I started dieting on the 2nd Jan after having an absolute blow out New Years party :D and I found MFP 3 days ago.

Starting stats:
Age: 39
Height: 6'3 (191cm)
Weight: 252lb (18stone or 114kg)

I'm hoping to get down to around 220lb or just under 16stone by the first week of June

Heres what I looked like at new year ... forgive the pink leapoard skin onesie, I was a little bit drunk :laugh:
