Fitbit Zip vs Bodymedia Fit

I've had a Bodymedia Fit Armband for over a year now and love it BUT I only wear it when I'm working out because it's pretty uncomfortable. I'm thinking about ditching it for the Fitbit Zip so I can wear it in my bra or pants instead plus it looks like the online service is free unlike the Bodymedia Fit. I'm going to be moving out on my own soon and any way I can save some $ would be great. What do you think?

Don't think fitbit is as accurate but more practical. I've had my BMF and don't notice it's on. Have you got it too tight?

yeah I've tried loosening it it's still uncomfortable for me. Another plus is that I don't need to be at the computer to see the data on it since it has a screen. I'm going to order it from Target.com since it's on sale for $10 cheaper ($49) If I don't like it I'll just return it to the store.

I haven't heard of the BMF, but i have a Fitbit One and i love it. I still use a HRM for my workouts because i feel like those are more accurate but this is great for steps and floors climbed etc.

I have both and find the Bodymedia more accurate. I wear it tucked into the side band of my bra during work and when I go out just to keep it out of site. The readings are virtually the same I have found. You just have to make sure you have a well fitting bra so it doesn't fall out.

I have the Fitbit Ultra which I love, but I just use it to count my steps and stairs. They are getting ready to come out with a wrist band soon too so you may want to check the Fitbit website. I use my HRM for workouts though. Fitbit interfaces with MFP so I never have to never use their website.

I have both. I have the body media link which syncs with my ipod. If you switch to the Fitbit, make sure you get an HRM for workouts. The calorie counts on mine are way off from actual because it only counts the steps and not the resistance. My BodyMedia is normally spot on with the calories for workouts. It was really uncomfortable for a little while, but now that I am used to it, I don't feel it on at all.

I'll probably wear both at the same time and see what the difference is before deciding to quit the other one.

I've just got a BMF and found a big difference I calorie burn. Wasn't losing weight using fitbit/MFP calories so hoping BMF will be more successful.
