IT band problems!

Hi all!
I'm currently in the middle of training for a marathon, and I hurt my IT band in mid-January. Right at the 12 mile training mark! These last couple of months have been painful, but I am learning to deal with the pain. But I am also trying to fix the problem as best as I can. I have started a strength training program for runners, as well as an ab program specifically designed for runners. I also bought a roller to help roll my hip out, but it still bothers me when I am running on it.
What I am looking for is any tips (especially stretches!) or techniques to help with this problem. I would really like to finish the marathon without being all doped up on ibuprofen!
