Greetings!

Hello! I'm new to this site, but I'm liking what I see so far. The food and exercise journals look like they'll be really helpful, but I know that I won't keep at this unless I have some help. (I have a fairly external locus of control.) So, I'm looking for a few new friends that will help me acheive my goals. (Just an FYI, my two main motivators are spite and guilt, so feel free to use those on me.)

I just turned 30 and I've been noticing the scale slowly inching upward. Its not too bad right now (6' 200lbs), but I don't feel like waiting until it becomes a big problem to do something about it. My goal is to get back down to 170lbs. I chose the recommend 1lb/wk plan, but if I can get it off quicker, great.

Anyway, just hit me up as a friend if your friend's list is as small as mine is. :)

    I am also a newbie...this is my third day....I like the fact that I scan barcodes to track what I eat. Just gotta work in an exercise routine and I believe I'll be losing weight in no time.
