It's a myth...it's a myth!

So I had my annual physical today...and I just had to report back here and let you all know...MY UTERUS DIDN'T FALL OUT!!!!

I know, awesome, right?! I mean, I've been lifting heavy since March...and I was so afraid I was either gonna grow a penis or my uterus was gonna fall out (I mean, read the threads around here, some scary stuff gets said).

So yeah. Just had to drop that little bomb of awesome on y'all! :drinker:

It makes me laugh when I hear a woman say "I won't lift weights, because I don't want to get bulky". Like it will happen overnight.

Yeah, ya know, I just don't have much use for mine. Maybe it's not falling out yet because I'm not going heavy enough?

I was really looking forward to growing a penis. Could really help out during those dry spells, ya know? *sigh* GIMME ALL THE TESTOSTERONEZ!

you DON'T WANT THAT...it happened to me (20 years ago) and it is REALLY PAINFULL...and scary cause you don't know what is happening to you..it took several months to line up surgery to take care of it......I ended up with a hysterectomy....total except for one ovary.....so early menopause it was.....so it goes on and on.....

Oh thank God!! I'm so happy for you!!

Just remember to keep a close eye on the situation, you know that you actually grow the penis and balls first, then the uterus comes out via the penis opening.... I've heard it's a very painful ordeal, which is why I obviously only lift 3 lb weights and walk about .5 mph for exercise.

but the manification process is on going right now and you just dont notice.

one day, you'll be doing a deadlift and BAM you'll look bulky.

for the love of all that's dainty and womanly, forget the heavy weights and lift a can of soup a zillion times!

Awesome OP...yeah, I really don't understand the, "if you lift heavy you're going to turn into a hulk thing." Sadly, this notion does not apply only to women either. Just the other day my Brother In Law asked me If I wanted to start going to the gym together since we both started pretty recently. My first inclination was, "sure...I could always use a spot and someone to push me." Then we got to talking about our respective routines and he told me I was going to turn into some kind of freakish hulk if I kept lifting that way and that the key was to do more reps at much lighter weight. Whatever bro...I don't think working out together would be such a great idea. I almost asked him what color his panties were, but I thought that might be insulting to my sister who was standing right there.

The hulks do a lot more than lift heavy and eat a generally nutritious diet.

I will go next week, make sure mine's still in place, and up the sample size, making this more scientific :)

look it. I saw on Oprah that NO WOMAN, NONE EVER, should EVER lift MORE THAN THREE POUNDS.

So all you ladies carrying around your new born babies and picking up groceries, and moving baskets of laundry STOP IT NOW. Make the MAN do it. You don't want to get bulky fer pete's sakes!

And I'm glad your uterus is intact, OP. Whew! Better knock it off with the man-i-fication of your body before you lose your husband (which you must surely have!)!

OMG! I had a man that I work with tell me that the key to getting in shape was to lift light weights with high reps and that I should stop lifting heavy because eventually I will tear a bicep or something. I told him that I could deadlift his bodyweight and to have fun with his light weights.

I can envision the fallen Uterus. It hangs there like a giant sack, pulsing in and out with every breath, and letting out an awful wail like an out of tune bagpipe every time it deflates. Please, for the love of gawd, if your uterus ever falls out go immediately to the bathroom and push it back up in there with the plunger. And if there is no plunger then remember one thing....shallow breaths!
