Whatever you like. Your body isn't set on a clock that needs food at certain times. If you like a big breakfast, a medium lunch and a light supper, do that. If you aren't a morning person have a light breakfast with a larger supper.

The important part is to stay within your calorie budget. 3 meals a day, 6 meals a day, 5 am, 11 pm, makes no difference.

I eat when I am hungry. Not like munchy, picky hungry but really hungry (I can finally tell the difference).

Sometimes dinner is at 6pm, sometimes it's at 4pm. Having set times or waiting too long never worked for me. Once I started with a plan to not plan, I have lost 87lbs. I'm doing it this way from now on!

It's all about personal preference. I skip breakfast and lunch and eat a huge dinner and sometimes multiple desserts. Will this work for everyone? No. Does this work for me? Yes and no one can take away my three desserts a night

I eat when I am hungry. I had lunch at 1230 and was ravenous an hour ago so I ate again. NOMZ.

I try to eat bulk of my carbs in the morning like oats and a fresh juice or eggs and a slice of toast. For Lunch I'd suggest a wrap, omelet or salad. Protein and low carb vegies for dinner. If i get hungry between meal time i try to have protein snacks 1/2 can of tuna, boiled egg or 50g of ham/chicken or stripped steak.

At the end of the day don't starve yourself make sure you are eating enough just make sure it is of the right things.

I know that this is geared towards women, but I assume that the same or similar principals can be applied for men's fitness.

    whatever works for you!
i was eating pretty standard breakfast/lunch/dinner, but getting hungry around 3pm.
i split my breakfast & lunch into 3 smaller meals and now eat at 9am, 12pm and 3pm. im eating the same calories, but now i have something to eat when i get hungry in the afternoon.

im not sure about the 'dont eat carbs/big meals' at night. i have noticed my weight does spike a bit if i eat a big meal at night, but im not sure yet of the overall implications for my weight so im kind of experimenting and monitoring that now.

Best time to eat is when you are hungry.

I say that, but I eat even when I'm not hungry because I find it difficult to eat all my calories in just 3 meals. I pre-plan my day and know what I have to eat for the day. Most of my meals fall in the 200-300 calorie range and I eat 5-6 times a day. Breakfast, snack, post-workout protein bar, lunch, 2nd snack (my co-worker jokes that it is often 2nd lunch when I have a big bowl of soup), and then dinner. I try to eat mostly whole foods with only about 20-30% of my calories coming from processed foods so I have a lot of foods that have a bit of volume for the calorie content. I simply would get too full to finish all that I need to eat if I didn't spread it out as much as I do.
