Striiv, Fitbit or BodyFit Media?

Hello everyone. I have a question. Has anyone ever heard of the Striiv Pedometer? Does anyone have one or have any experience using it? I was thinking about getting a fitness tracking device and I have been researching them online. There are so many. I am torn between the Striiv, which btw seems really freakin' cool, the Bodyfit Media, and Fitbit? But I really like the Striiv. Does anyone have an opinion on what I should buy?

BMF most accurate but not good if you don't like it on show. STRIIV good if the games will motivate you- have you seen the STRIIV Play. O a search for all three and you will find loads of info.

I have a BodyMedia Fit and love it. I don't mind it on my arm at this point since it is winter and I wear mostly long sleeves. It is visible at the gym, but I don't think people notice because so many people have their iPods on their arms as well. I didn't see the Striiv when I was researching so I can't compare between the two. If you want to know your daily burn and integrate it into MFP for the food, BMF is a great tool. I like knowing that I can pull an average for the past week and see that my average deficit for the week is in line with my loss. For me, the more I know, the happier I am.

I just got the striiv play about a week ago and really like it, the one works with the iPhone 4S or 5 i think. I like the challenges and the game.

The STRRIV smart pedometer is self contained, has a walking challenge game and doesn't link to MFP bit also though allows you to give to charity which the Play doesn't. You can linkmFB and MFPM to Earndit to give to charity too n

I LOVE my Striiv smart pedometer. Can't sync with MFP but I can manually enter time and calories burned. I love that I can donate to several good causes by walking and earning trophies and energy for the game is very motivating. My daughter has one and we can challenge/race each other also which is fun. Before my Striiv, I had a regular pedometer and averaged maybe 4000 steps per day. Now my average is around 6000 (after one month using it) and the last two days I've hit over 10,000 steps.

I have a Body Media and I absolutely love it. It's very accurate an has helped me push past a 3 month plateau. I lost 2lbs in the first week wearing it. It's much more accurate than a HRM with calories burned and steps taken. The downside is that you do have to wear it all the time and it is on display for everyone to see, but I really could care less about that aspect. Overall, I love mine and highly recommend it!

You can link BMF and fitbit to the website Earndit which allows you to donate too.

I use a Fitbit, the fact it sync's with MFP is a gold star bonus and I really recommend it, coupled with a decent HRM you have the tools you need.
