Trying to get back on the road

So I ran my first 50-miler and got plantar fasciaitis. I gained a bunch of weight between that recovery time and the next marathon. Now I have a hip injury as a result. I was at my heaviest weight ever at that marathon. Until I can run again, I need to lose 15 pounds; hopefully by end of February.
Any other runners in here? I REALLY want to qualify for Boston in September. I could use all the advice I can get.
