Achilles Tendon Cramp

Out of the blue I just started getting this cramp in my right ankle area (heel around where the bone is going up behind my foot..my husband says it's the Achilles Tendon). OH my how uncomfortable is this! I don't know HOW this is happening? For awhile now, I noticed I do some low impact exercises, my ankle with start to throb but then goes away. I usually wear a brace.
I didn't exercise at all today really; just typical walk. I do wear high heels every single day. Could that be it?
I just put some ice on it.........
(I also get toe/arch cramps depending on the sneakers I wear, just thought I'd throw that out there).

I think only muscles can cramp. This could Achilles tendonitis from over use or overload and the heel of a shoe digging into it. Pain is usually 2" above heel. Start stretching out bottom of foot that should help with arch cramping, Google it for varied treatments and diagnosis0
