Beef and veggie chili

1.5 lb ground beef
1.5 bell pepper
1 onion
1package sliced mushrooms
1 bulb garlic
2 cans tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
2 cans kidney beans
1 cab black beans
Cumin
Red pepper flakes
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Chili powder


This is spicy if you want less spice then add slowly when you get to that step.

Length of time is about 30-45 minutes from start to finish
You van enjoy once it is hot but I like to let it sit in the crockpot all day to let the flavors combine

Can make it veggie chili just subtract the beef.

Serving size is 1 cup

Brown beef

Drain but save oils so you can sauté veggies

Chop all veggies and add to pot that you browned beef in.
Sauté till cooked but not over cooked
Half way through add fresh garlic this is added half way through so it does not over cook

Once veggies are cooked add back in beef and stir

Once combined add tomato paste and stir

Once combined add beans and stir

Once combined add tomato sauce as well as franks red hot and stir

Once combined add spices

Let cook on low for a few hours or you van transfer to crockpot and let cook all day

Serving size is 1 cup
