Post-workout this evening, I was pondering what to have for my protein+carb snack. And bam. It hit me.

1 ripe banana
1/2 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
1-2 slices of wheat bread

Mash the banana with the protein powder and make a sandwich. Or put on toast. Or leave in bowl and dip the bread in it like me.

I use Optimum chocolate whey protein powder and had a slice of Pepperidge Farms 7 grain light style bread. Next time I will use two slices of toast, but for this particular evening:

39 carbs
15 protein
1 fat
121 sodium
422 potassium

Mmmm!
