What do you pump iron, or run to?

    I usually listen to

    Five Finger Death Punch
    Disturbed
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Pantera
    Killswitch Engage
    StoneSour

Pretty much anything with riffs that get the blood pumping.

I listen to the exact same things!! LOL ROCK seems to get my "BEASTMODE" activated! ;)

I have possibly the most random mix of music on my mp3 player. I can go from listening to The Beatles, to System of a Down, to Beethoven, to Lady Gaga. It's amazing. My favourite mix was when my mp3 went from System of a Down to the Olympic fanfare to Bowie. That made my elliptical time much more fun!

Podcasts while I'm lifting - love 'Stuff You Should Know'
Scottish Country Dance station on Pandora for cardio -(weird I know but I used to do scottish country dance and it makes me happy)

I know what you mean - I have a few pipe and drum tunes for slow lifting - I'm going to call it "Jockcersise"

    Five Finger Death Punch

    Love them!

Although, I listen to the complete opposite kind of music when I work out... Dance club/electronic and dubstep haha. Nero, Skrillex, Morgan Page, Zeds Dead, Tiesto, Benassi, Guetta.

I have a similar mix, it's always nice when the mp3 surprises you! although there is an overwhelming amount of metal- i really find Rob Zombie brilliant as workout ( and driving) music.

Everything from Disco to Rap to Rock to Pop. I randomize the playlist and just skip the songs that are not doing it for me at the time. When I run I find I am a bit more selective.

I like to listen to classic rock, Kelly Clarkson, and Drop Kick Murphies. But lately I've been listening to stand up comedy. My runs go by a lot faster when I listen to that. However, I'm sure I look like a moron giggling on the tredmill.
