ok so.. Im in a pickle. I usually try to workout in the morning before breakfast because I find that during the day the chores and other stuff consume me and drain me out so much that working out is out of the question. However, since I've been doing this, by the time its 1pm Im exhausted. Im cranky and all I want to do is sleep. I'm having coffee now because I have to write an exam and I havent studied for it at all. However, has anyone else experienced this?? Will this go away once my body is more used to me working out?
I just don't want to plop into bed every time I'm exhausted because it means I'm training my body to go to bed as soon as 1pm comes around. Any tips on how to come out of this?

Are you eating enough? Are you eating the right foods. Sometimes if your cutting calories down so low, and eating very little to do it, You could be starving your body of the energy it needs. Cutting calories doesn't mean you have to starve. I have open food diary, take a look. I find I have to make my own meals to get a good amount of healthy food for the calorie/carb buck I want.
I just joined 1/16/13 to MFP, but have been eathing healthy for awhile and have lost almost 40 lbs.
Fell free to add me if you want as a friend0 -
hi projec, I too like to work out in morning..i get out of bed at 5 am and am working out by 6 am...i work 8-5..so this way when i get home from work...any thing extra like a walk after din din is bonus..or if i feel like sitting on the couch i dont feel guilty....as far as a crash in the afternoon, i think your body will adjust to your schedule...possibly try a snack...lots of people tend to have crashes even if they don't exercise in the am...i know that i feel better all day long..and i know that im getting a good calorie burn when i kick start it with a good work out..so maybe i just feel too good mentally to notice anything negative physically..lol...i know that if i leave my work out to the evenings i will end up talking myself out of doing them.....good luck..and dont give up your work out..just give it some more time.0

How many calories are you set a day? Are you eating every single one and your calories gained through exercise?0

Im set at 1600 calories a day. I was burning between 200-250 calories per day for the first few days but I've up'd my exercise and now doing around 300-500 calories. I don't know what else to eat because Im eating soo much already. I try my best not to go over my daily carb/fat/protein intake and I'm worried that I might start eating junk again if I don't have a good sized dinner!
I'll check out your diaries and see what I'm doing. My diary is open too, so please let me know what I can do to improve. I just woke up after a two hour nap0 -
Have you had your iron levels checked? You may need a check up with your doc.0
