New to the boards....

I'm not new to MFP exactly, I've been using the app for a few years, but I've been bad about repeatedly falling out of my healthy habits and going back to my old snacking-while-reading ways. :) Being a work at home mom (kids are 6 and 9) it's easy to slip. Discipline is not really my thing so this has been hard for me. Trying to avoid type 2 diabetes (I had gestational with both kids) and lower my blood pressure most of all.

I'm 37, and I've got about 40 lb to lose till I hit my initial goal. 12 off so far. I'm doing Couch to 5K for exercise, which is way more fun than I thought it would be! Getting out in nature is what motivates me.
