When I started my journey to address my overeating problem my friend recommended looking into mindfulness. I found this book called EATING THE MOMENT which really helped. I wanted to share this, but was also curious if other people had experience/knowledge regarding mindfulness...

Geneen Roth also has a great perspective on eating that sounds similar to this as well.

Strange, I just posted a recommendation on a book by Geneen Roth that advocates mindful eating. I have found it useful to be aware of the link between hunger and emotions. I began to realise i am not always hungry but that some feelings have me reaching for the crisps! Anyway I am just starting on the quest to fix my relationship with food but I certainly believe if you can work out why you want to eat then you are more able to control your eating,
    Good Luck x
  • I used to eat just because the food was in front of me. I have to learn to say "well enough is a enough"
