Muscle fatigue

Hi All,

I have a question,

Since I started this "high protein, low carbs" way of eating (I deliberately don't want to call it a diet, LOL) , I have been experiencing some muscle fatigue, mostly in my arms and shoulders.
I don't exercise every day, and I sure don't overexercise. :)
But, when I reach up to get something from the cupboards, for example, I get this tired feeling in my arms, they feel kind of limp.

Is that normal, and is it because of carb. deficit?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Just searched and found your post on muscle fatigue. I got very tired upper arms while at work for no apparent reason today. Also on high protein low fat/carb way of eating for some months. Also drinking a lot of soya milk - might this be the problem?
If you have any insight, I'd be grateful.
    thanks

I used to cycle alot and found my legs would just give up suddenly after lowering my carb intake. I found a good vitamin and mineral supplement (I use centrum performance) stopped this for me.

No, that is not normal under any circumstance. I encourage you to go and see your doctor.

I don't know anything about low carb diets, but I also advise stopping and eating more balanced if you feel that this is what's causing your fatigue.
