Question about HRM's and weight

I know that weight determines how many calories are actually burned .. a 125 lb person doing the same exercise as a 250 lb person would be completely different. Therefore, are HRM monitors accurate? I'm wanting the Polar F7 with chest strap to get an accurate count, but wanted to ask here first, thanks!!

I don't know about the Polar, but the HRM I have allows me to customize it. I can choose Female, my age, my height, my weight, my activity level, what heart rate levels I want to work out at, and more. It's nice, b'c as you lose weight you can adjust the weight figure on the HRM, so it will continue to give you accurate results.0

As long as you keep it updated with your weight it's as accurate as you can be. I keep mine set lower than my actual weight so I don't have to change it as often. So if I weighed 169, I would set it at 160. The. Once I got to 159 I'd set it to 150.0
