How much wieght could a 220lb person lose if he ran 20 min a day for 5 days a week and ate a healthy 1200 calories a week.

    not too mcuh...you most likely end up with an injury starting with that much running.

    If you ease into it and build up over time, you'd be sure to lose more. Find the Couch to 5K program or Jeff Galloway for beginners.

    Plus, 1200 calories isn't much for 220 plus exercising...you'll want to eat a little more. MFP is pretty good about it's numbers.

    Sorry, but 1,200 is NOT healthy for an adult. It's under baseline for an adult male and absolute bare minimum for an adult female who never gets out of bed and doesn't move at all.

    Calorie burn for 20 minutes/day 5x/week will vary wildly depending on how FAST you run, how long you keep up that pace, and what the environment is like.
