Three full days of logging and I feel great. Taking things serious this time:

* I bought a digital scale to measure food
* I challenged myself to drink 3 litres/101 oz of water per day
* No crackers.

Wish me luck. I CAN do this.

  • Me too! This ismy third day. I am logging my food as best as I can. I am not necesarrily not eatting certain things, but I am thinking twice about my choices throughout the day. I found today I ate so much at lunch that dinner was limited, but I still found something to eat. So, hopefully I will see results at the end of the week.

    Thanks you two! Jackie - I bought a digital scale and am really working to weigh my meals. I baked some chicken breasts on Monday and pulled out the scale to weigh the breast that I THOUGHT was a portion. It was actually two portions. Just need to get used to eating smaller meals I guess. Today we had lean burgers and baked yam fries but I weighed out a 73 gram portion (about 13 fries) and still stayed within my calorie count! Although, I had to cut a 1/4 out of my burger! Looked like a packman! Keep it up and let's check in with with each other on Sunday - one full week of counting! Do you have a goal?
