Hi All,

Right now I am using the recommended goals that MFP gives me for daily intake but I am not loosing very much weight and I am usually (minus a couple bad days with girl scout cookies) close to my goal. I am 141 lbs and only have 10 lbs to loose, I was thinking I may need to change up how many carbs/fat/protein that i take in daily. Does anyone have any suggestions of what numbers I should be trying to hit with so little to loose? Also it gives me more of them all with exercise. Should I go with the original number or the new exercise numer. I really want to tone up.

BTW: I am not talking about calories... I know how many calories to eat/to eat my exercise calories back. Just when it comes to carbs/fat/protein

What are your current percentages? I changed mine to 50% carb, 30% protein, and 20% fat ratio on the advice of my trainer. He said I needed the carbs because of the intensity of the exercise I'm doing. It seems to work for me.

A lot of people choose 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. You kind of have to work with it and see what seems to work for you.

    Good luck with your goal!

My Home >> Goals >> Change Goals >> Custom

Mine is 50% carbs/20% protein/30% fat...so far, so good I've lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks doing it!

Go to My Home, and select Goals. At the bottom of that page is a green "button" that says change goals. On the next page you need to select the Custom option for setting up your goals. You can select percentages for your carbs, protein and fats.

okay, thanks! I am doing pretty intense workouts as well so I may try 50% carbs, 25% protein and 25% fat.. just see how it works.
