On the comeback trail

Hi everyone!

I'm a 58 year-old guy and have been more or less in shape most of my life from weight training. But over the last year and half, I let myself go and gained 30 pounds. I'm the heaviest I've been in my entire life. I don't like it.

In the past, I'd used low-carb diets to get rid of 10 pounds or so, but hated the side effects of bad breath and quick weight gain. So I'm trying calorie counting for the first time. And I'll be religiously doing my weight workouts 3 times a week and walking 5 times a week.
