New and loving it!

Hi Everyone,

I've been here for a few days and decided it's time to formally introduce myself. I'm here to lose 25 pounds and I'm on a 1200 calorie plan. I'd really like to connect with others for mutual encouragement.

So far I'm really enjoying MyFitnessPal, especially the food diary. I needed this visual to help me see what I was really consuming. I think I know now why I wasn't losing weight. It's all in black and white.

It's nice to have a place to record progress, share my thoughts in a blog, and join a community of folks doing the same thing! I'm also enjoying all the helpful advice and Q&A in the forums. And those weight loss meters are so inspirational. Some of you have done amazing things!
