I have been on here for almost a year. I have done well but the last month I have lost slowly within the same two pounds and at the beginning of December I was losing about 1.5-2 pounds per week then it just stopped. I have upped my exercise and eaten a little less but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know all of your stats (height, goal weight, starting weight, activity level etc.) so this will be half speculation, half educated guess.
It seems like you aren't eating enough. I went through a few plateaus where I would bounce up and down between the same few pounds for long periods of time (months). It happened twice and both times it stopped once I started consistently eating more. I took a quick look at your diary and (at least this week) you are regularly leaving 400+ calories on the table at the end of the day. As you lose weight and get lighter, you can't have these same aggressive goals of losing 1-2 pounds a week as you did when you were more overweight. I had 30 pounds to lose total and I had to suck it up and realize that the last 15 pounds of that I had to set MFP for 0.5 lb/week to make it work. For you, this may mean you have to back it down from 2 lb/week to 1 lb/week. Or maybe you have to eat some exercise calories back. maybe reassess how you have your activity level set...is it set for sedentary when you are truly active?
Doing the same thing throughout your entire weight loss tends not to work for most of us. I do think adding more calories is where your problem lies. Also, if you up your calories, don't do it for one week then freak out that you gained a pound. Do it for 3 weeks, let your body adjust, then see where you are.
Good luck, I k now this can be frustrating!0 -
Instead of eating less, try eating more.0

You may want to try the eating more way to see if that helps. I looked at your exercise diary and you are very active! KUDOS to you. I think your body may be saying, feed me more, or I'll just hold on to what you do feed me. I really dread the day that your reality becomes mine because I know I will have to tweak what I am doing and I'm so comfortable doing what I do right now. If you haven't already, find the In place of a road map post and see if that is something you may want to try. You find your TDEE and eat a 20% deficit of that. For how active you are, you will probably be able to increase your calories quite abit.
Good luck! I know this is frustrating but keep pushing through you have done so great already.0 -
You may be cutting your calories too much right now....but I would also recommend adding in lots more veggies for the calories. And try to get 50% of them raw.0
