Hi everyone,
I went to a weight-lifting class (Group Power) on Wednesday and ever since then, I feel really stiff and sore all over. It hurts to sit or stand or do anything really. I went to an aqua fit class on Thurs hoping it will help the pain to go away but when I woke up this morning, it still really hurts.
Should I go biking today or should I take it easy and let the muscles heal first?
Thanks!

Stretch and drink lots and lots of water.
The aquafit class or biking the day after the body bodybuilding is a good idea. Gets the lactic acid moving out of the joints.0 -
Congrats, it sounds like you're experiencing something known as DOMS. This is short for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, and it happens to everyone. This tends to get worse over a three day period, with the third day being the worse. As she has stated above make sure to drink plenty of water and if you use BCAA 's they will help the soreness subside a little quicker.0

I'd just say power through and keep going. If it continues longer than a week, consult your dr.0

Thanks! Would you recommend going back to the gym before DOMS disappears? I haven't lifted weights in quite some time (approx 4 months) and it even hurts to straighten my arms properly!0
