Yesterday I went grocery shopping and not only did I buy only what was on my list (for my meal plans for this next week) but I also did so in a shirt that I haven't felt comfortable wearing in public in over a year...and it didn't feel all tight and bunchy.

    NSV is "non-scale victory"

I refused a cinnamon roll at breakfast

Have not weighed-in all week (I am addicted to the scales)

Got my son a milkshake tonight and none for me

i made it through a meeting at work where they served everyone a very large cupcake to celebrate birthdays. I passed on the cupcake and did not even have a desire for it!!

One of my favorite, light weight tshirts has had a small hole in it from rubbing against the button of my jeans. Yesterday I noticed the hole is now a full 2 inches below my jeans buckle. My shirts have gotten taller :)

Kept having to slow down during cardio this morning to pull up my sweat pants!

I love the fact that now I can slide my jeans off without unbuttoning!

Im proud of the fact that there has been a HUGE plate of cookies and brownies sitting on the breakrrom table for two whole days, and I haven't had one! Today I also had two people who didnt know that I was trying to lose weight, ask me if I had lost weight!

I'm getting back my hourglass shape, in my profile picture I took today it's way more noticeable with all the inches I've lost since the beginning of the month. I'm at 39-32-41 [bust-waist-hips/butt]

I got up at 5.30 to do my shred session although I was really tired. My youngest woke up when I had another 6 minutes left but I did not want to take that asan excuse. So I put her on the floor (she's 3 months) and talked to her so she"d be happy till I am done.

My kids got cake today and I didn't take a piece. However, even more importantly, they really liked the frosting, so I tried it. One spoonful. And then I stopped. Usually, it is easier for me to say no that to take a little and then stop. So trying the frosting was very brave but I was sure that I'd be able to stop!

This is my NSV for today!

I actually lost a glove on the way to the gym but decided to DL anyway. I'd been stuck at 95lbs forever because I'd jerk the bar w my arms whenever it was heavier than that and didn't want to risk back injury from poor form. Today I did 135lbs easily. I also picked out a higher box for box jumps and did them with no problems. Not bad for someone who has PT on both knees!

I went shopping for the first time in probably more than 6 months, and I'm down 3 full pants sizes since last year!

I was getting frustrated because I went over a month without losing an ounce (after losing 20 lbs over January to June), but now I see that I'm way smaller than I thought, clothes look great, and I'm donating a bunch of stuff that's too big. My bathing suit is too big, my shorts from last year are just plain silly they're so big, and my work pants are so big I could probably have a friend hop in. haha!

And it's all just hard work. No DVDs, no shakes, no pills, no magic bullet. Slow and steady hard work!

I have this weird thing for bony hands/wrists. I think they look elegant and suitable for watches or bracelets. I have never known what it's like to have one before (due to too much fat, lol) but I notice all kinds of new definition on my wrist today XD

Haha, it's kinda weird, but I'm obsessed with little things like that
