What a little tweak in Macro's can do!

Ugh, for the last two weeks I have had to PRY myself out of bed only to land on the couch and veggitate for another hour or so. However, once I was finally up, I felt heavy and sluggish all day. I immediately thought this was food related, because every time I experiment with new eating habits, I get weird side effects. This time around it was not enough FAT! For the last several months I have been on a (mostly) low fat vegan diet (not for ethical reasons... health related). Anyways, I bumped the fat up, and yesterday and today I sprung out of bed and have loads of energy. It's weird to think what power food holds over your body... but it really does. For instance, when I tried a calorie cycling diet, the down days gave me TONS of energy... but made my ADHD 100X worse.... like someone was feeding me live electrical wires. I give food alot of credit now as far as how it effects my brain.
