Hi everyone
I am going to try using the roadmap to weight loss next week. Just wondering if anyone has had success losing inches with this?
Thanks!

I started following it a few months ago. I started losing weight in September and lost my first 10lbs pretty quickly. Slowed down in October and went back to tracking on MFP and browsing the forums. MFP wanted me to eat the bare minimum 1200 calories (and then I gave myself the extra 500 for breastfeeding). I wasn't really working out either. Found IPOARM and it took a bit for it to click, but once it did it all made sense. Gradually bumped my calories up, decided to start working out more so I could work to have a higher activity level and have been watching the weight steadily come off ever since! I'm down another 25lbs!
Before I started following IPOARM and exercising (started with Jillian's 30 Day Shred, now doing Ripped in 30 & Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and the Leslie Sansone walking DVDs too) I'd lost 10+ pounds but hardly any inches. Once I started eating more and exercising not only did the weight come off but the inches did too. I dropped from a 12 to a 10 really quickly, then to an 8 and now am in a 6, and some of my size 4 pre-kid pants are close to fitting too. I've also gone down in shirt sizes, dress sizes, bra sizes, etc.
And I've done it all eating 2000 calories a day easily (often more). I do get an additional burn with the breastfeeding BUT this is my 3rd kid and no matter what diet I tried, I was never able to lose weight while breastfeeding successfully prior to this. I really do credit it for my success this time and I feel totally confident I can maintain. I've slowed down my loss to about 1/2-1 pound a week now but for a good while I was down 2lbs each week on average. I've also lost all my weight eating all the foods I plan to maintain on - no cutting anything out, I'm able to make room for the occasional glass of wine or dinner out with my family too0
