I seem to keep going over my protein limit even when under my calorie limit. What affect will this have on weight loss?

I just saw that someone else posted the same question just before I did! Good to know I'm not the only one. And there were some good answers too. Thanks!0

Protien is good, you really can't eat too much unless you eat like Atkins low. And Atkins low isn't bad if you do it for a short amount of time, its just long term that may have negative effects. If your carbs are high also, then you are doing fine!0

Too much of any nutrient is bad if you stay unbalanced for a long time. But be a little relaxed about it...you know how you feel, and if you are feeling healthy, you are probably fine. Some people with underlying health conditions have to be vigilant about too much protein, but if you're not one of them, you probably have a little slack to play with.
Just remember, protein can put an extra load on your kidneys, and some types of protein come with more saturated fat than is healthy. Strive for balance and include plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.0
