Dear Mr. Scale,

For the past few months you have been great to me. Actually, amazing! You have shown me that I have lost a total of 28lbs. So I have you to thank for that, but recently I am not that happy with you anymore. You don't wanna budged anymore!! I am sorry for the shaking and the thumping against the wall you have endured over the past few weeks because of that. With much thinking and sadness I have decided that I am throwing you out!! Okay, that is harsh. I won't throw you out but instead lock you up in my closet. Out of sight, out of mind. Before, you and my measuring tape were my best friends but right now, the measuring tape is my only friend. I hope you won't think I am abandoning you, I am not. We just need a break. See you in a month
