Over the past couple of months, I have seen tons of 1000 rep workouts, 500 rep workouts, etc.
I thought I'd share a few links.
Great for at home exercisers, travel workouts, or to create a circuit for yourself. Or maybe you get bored easily! Mix in kettlebells, body weight exercises or things with light weights. These are cario/endurance focused and less strength focused.

***I don't think I have the stamina or maybe just time for 1000 reps. I go for 500 - 700 reps of a few things. It takes me 20-30 minutes, and at the end I feel like I did something. In time I'll up the reps, but I don't want to over-exert myself.
Happy exercising.
P.S. You want to focus on exercises you can do with proper form for a lot of reps. Bodyweight exercises are great for this. Also Calisthenics. Like jumping jacks, other types of jumps, windmills, pushups, situps, crunches, burpees, mountain climbers, body weight squats, lunges. Not stuff with heavy weights which would lead to way too much fatigue. The primary goal here is to get your heart rate up, with some ancillary strength building benefits.
P.P.S. Focus on big muscle groups for this to be most effect.....100 calf raises, not that great. 100 squats? Way better!
