How Often?

So, I'm doing the 30 day shred over a longer period of time than 30 days.
If I can help it, I try not to do it any more than 2 days apart (this would be day 3 since I've done it, but I plan on doing it right after this post) Today will be the 7th time I've done it, and I'm only doing 10 days per level, so I'm still on level one. It has gotten easier, I've noticed a difference in how I can push my way through the workout.
If I continue to use the shred like this, is it going to have any affect on me? Should I be doing it every day like I'm thinking she expects it? I'm not entirely sure I can muster doing this every day. I do feel sore the day after, and from what I've learned from high school gym teachers is that you're supposed to continue to work out even while you're sore to keep the muscle building, otherwise it goes back to where it started.
Also, how often should I take my measurements? I'm trying to only weigh myself once a week, would it be a good idea to do measurements then too? Or should I do that every other week? I'm not sure what's best or how fast I could really lose any weight/inches.
Any input would be fantastic, thanks!

I'm not doing the shred, but I have some intense exercises to do for my martial arts. For that, I was told to do it three times a week.0

I would think doing it every other day would be good. That gives your body a day to rest and recover. But also think that after a couple of weeks if you can try it every day that would be more beneficial. our bodies are marvelous things. They were made to be in motion. So even if you walk on the 'off' days and do the 'Shred' on opposite days you'll see more results.
About the measure ment thing- I dont measure but know that I am losing inches due to the fact how my clothes are fitting. but have done this in the past with another diet plan. We measured every week with the weigh in. but if you arent seeing the results you want, then measure less often.
Best wishes to you.0 -
You'll still get results doing it every other day, or even two days apart. When I was doing the shred religiously, I was alternating between the shred and the couch to 5K program. I always took one day off a week too. It was pretty effective for me.0

Weigh once a week, measure every two weeks (at a minimum to get best results!)
I've got the 30 Day Shred and am alternating it with her No More Trouble Zones. I do them 3-5 times a week on top of other workouts. I agree you should work out when your mucles are tender as that helps build them up after breaking them down. However, honestly, it's the effort you put into it and if you don't feel you can do 2 days in a row, but can do every other day, then that's just as good. You'll eventually work your way up to it. Either way, you'll see results, they just might be slower in coming than if you did it more often.
Keep it up!0
