Good morning all!
I have an Omron GoSmart Pedometer and I have no idea how to translate the number of steps walked into my activity for the day. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

If it's just daily walking around that's already figured into your budget. If you've gone out for a brisk walk for an extended period of time log it by time and distance as exercise.0

I use mine to figure out my activity level for the day. I don't usually count it as exercise. If I walk 6000-8000 steps in a day (workday with lots of paperwork and meetings). I consider my activity level sedentary. If I walk 9000-11000 steps in a day I consider myself lightly active. If I walk 12000-18000 steps in a day I consider myself moderately active. On the work days when I'm on the running around the lab manically for 12 hours straight and log 18000-22000 steps or more, I still consider myself moderately active but log it as a few hours of food preparation (which it is very similar to), then I don't exercise for the day.0
