Hello - want to make new friends! :)

I've downloaded the app on my phone forever but I've never checked it online on my computer so this is the first time checking it out online.

I've always wanted to lose weight since I got in college because back in 2008 - I thought I was fine. I was still 120 lbs (all these years in middle/high school - I was still unhealthy, and I had an eating disorder. I exercised through dancing at home. I never liked exercising at school.) Quickly during the years in college, I gained so much weight. Last year spring I was around 235ish. I am now 213 lbs. I still have a long way to go. I started losing weight in the summer time with a support system at home. Now I'm back in college with a different major... I got lazy in the fall but after what happened during christmas break/new year's - I decided to change for the better. I just knew I could have kept it up in the fall but that's over now so no looking back and no regrets. Now I have a goal and I am pretty serious, and am going to stick with my plan of losing weight. I use South Beach Diet and it is working successfully for me. I love it and it makes me feel good about myself. My exercises are normally at the gym, or at home, doing zumba, yoga, tae bo, and 30 days shred. I have p90x but I am not prepared for that DVD yet as I am still in the process of training my whole body to be able to keep up the pace with p90x.

I am still discovering myself because there are new things that are worth learning that may be good for my body and for my soul.

So hi MyFitnessPal members!

    Hello!!

You look really familiar to me for some reason.

Anyhoo! I log everyday and have been on the journey for the past few months now. I've found that persistence is the key. Even when you don't feel motivated, just do it! It eventually turns into a good habit.

Everyone else, feel free to add me as well! :) I'm pretty motivating, I comment almost daily, log daily, etc.

After seeing your location, I definitely think we have mutual friends in Rochester. That's why you looked familiar. I went to school there until 2009.
