A little background.I lost 45 pounds about three years ago and have kept it off.I joined this month in order to get support losing the dreaded last ten.I work in an office enviorment and for the last six weeks there has been an excuse for various "food days".The holidays,( I think we have celebrated every single one since Thanksgiving) A party supporting our team ( Go Pats!) last weekend, another for the same reason this weekend ( Go Pats again!) I am almost hoping we don't get into the super bowl because I'm dreading the party that will bring. What's next,a fat Tuesday party? And people are actually pressuring me to eat.As I type this, someone just put a piece of fried dough on my desk.Because this company didn't exist three years ago, nobody here knew me at my heaviest so it's always" Your skinny, eat eat" They don't know how I struggle with my weight. I don't know how to "just say No" because they want to know why.I don't want to sound like I'm judgeing the way they choose to eat.

I bend the truth to people all the time if I feel I'm being pressured.
"No thanks, I don't drink pop" "No thanks, I'm allergic to Red dye #3" "No, thanks, I don't care for pizza" "No thanks, I'm fasting for a colonoscopy."

I like that last one! That will shut them up fast!

    Either tell them, or don't.

Whatever is easier, but put your needs first.

They're really not as concerned about what you eat as you are.

How would you feel about just saying, completely honestly, "I used to be 45lbs heavier and I never want to be that weight again". I say this because this happens a lot where I work too! But when people find out someone has lost a lot of weight, a lot of people are impressed and respectful of it in future.

Anyway, keep up the good work!!
